Dr. Teri Yasses
Dr. Teri Yasses, a native of Batavia, New York, attended Batavia High School and Genesee Community College. Dr. Teri graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in December 1991. She resides in LeRoy, with her husband Ted and daughter Addison. Together they enjoy downhill skiing, playing golf, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, traveling and rollerblading.
Dr. Teri chose to advance her education by studying to become a chiropractic neurologist. This certification requires 325 hours of extensive study in the field of chiropractic neurology. She continues to update her education by attending several seminars per year.
In August 2010, Dr. Teri became an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at D’Youville College in the Chiropractic Department. She currently teaches Pediatrics, Clinical Neuroscience Lab, Applied Neurology Lab, and Biomechanics. She has also taught History & Physical Exam, Palpation, Spinal Anatomy Lab and Adjusting Labs.
Dr. Alexander N. Sivret, Dr. Teri’s father, established Batavia Chiropractic Health Center in 1971. The office was moved to its present location in the Batavia City Centre in September 1998.
Batavia Chiropractic specializes in the treatment of families, with lifetime wellness care emphasized. Dr. Teri particularly enjoys treating children in her children’s adjusting room with a child size adjusting table, chairs and activities.
Dr. Teri is a member of the World Chiropractic Alliance, New York State Chiropractic Council, The Western New York Chiropractic Fellowship, Logan College of Chiropractic Alumni Association and Chi Rho Sigma Fraternity. She is also a past member of the Rotary Club of Batavia and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
